HISTORY OF INTERACT CLUB.


THE CITATON OF PAUL HARRIS(The Founder Of Rotary)
INTERACT  is a rotary sponsored service organization similar to rotaract for young teenagers (ages 14-18years) that fosters leadership and responsible citizenship and promotes international understanding and peace the purpose of interact is to provide young people with the opportunity to work together in world fellowship dedication to serve and international understanding every club must be sponsored by rotary club and may be either school or community based.

complete a community service project interact is also a social organization interactors develops a world wide network of friend through exchanges with local clubs and those from different countries 9 international youth exchange)

 CITATION OF PAUL HARRIS (the founder of rotary club)
Paul Harris was the founder of rotary club he was born in the Racine wiscosin, USA on April 1868 he received the bachelor or physical degree and L.L.D degrees from the university of Vermont and L.L.B from university of lowa he received an honorary P.H.D in 1993 from the university of Vermont the boys scout of brazil Chile Dominican republic Equador France and Peru
He worked as a newspaper reporter a business college teacher a stock company actor and a cowboy. He traveled extensively as salesman for a marble and granite concern in the us an and Europe.
In 1986 Paul Harris went to Chicago to practice law in 1900 after dinner with a lawyer in a residential section of Chicago Paul Harris was impressed by the fact that his friend stopped at several stores and shops in the neighbour hood and introduced him to the clients and he resolved to organize a club which would band together a group of representative business men and professional men in friendship and fellowship.

By 1905, he had formulated a definite philosophy of business relations talking it over with three of his law clients: Sylvester schiele, a coal merchant gustavus loeh a mining engineer and hirean shoran shorey a merchant tailor he decided to organize the first club which he had been planning since 1900 on February 23,1905 they held the first club meeting and nucleus was formed for the thousands of rotary clubs rotary clubs rotary because the members met in rotations in their various places of business .this met with the general approval and club membership grew rapidly almost every member intimate acquaintanceship of their boyhood days. When Paul Harris became the member of the club in its third year he try to extend rotary club to their cities because he was convened that the rotary club could be developed into improved service movement.
The second f rotary club was found in San Francisco in 1908. Other clubs were organized until in 1910 when there were 126clubs it was decided that they should be untitled into organization which would extend the movement to other cities and serve as cleaning house for exchange of ideas among the club s representative from the club came together when clubs were formed in Canada and great Britain and the name was changed in 1921, to the international association of rotary clubs. In 1922 the name was shorted to rotary international. Paul Harris was the first if the national association and the first president of the international association. When he passed away on January 28 he was president emeritus of rotary club international while Paul Harris devoted much of his time to rotary he was also prominent in civic and professional work. The was the first chairman of the board of directors of the national society for crippled children he was a member of the board of a managers of the Chicago bar association and its representative at the international congress of law at the Hague and he was a committee member of the American bar association.

Degree in chemistry and physics from Tulane university in new Orleans, Louisiana Glenn is one of live brother who ere Rotarians at one time for were president of their respective clubs Glenn is past chairman of trustees of the Baptist health system and eleven hospital system he headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama with approximately 10,000 employee she served as director of the better business bureau council society of Alabama. Earlier in Florida he was chairman of the YMCA the American chemical society and arthritis foundation.he was also a member of board of regents of the national association of personnel consultants in the united states Rotarians since 1960 Glenn was a member first in club #41 at Jacksonville, Florida (USA) and then Wayne new jersey (USA) Glenn was an advisor to the 1997 RI convention committee, polioplus national coordinator in 1897-88 during his tenure as a trustee, Glenn served as chairmen of the foundations finance committee and vice chairman of its program committee he was RI’s international assembly Chairman and moderator in 1991.

He formally was a member for four years and chairman for on e year of RI’s audit & operations review committee. This is RI’s only committee having a six-year term. This recommendation serves is an advisory role to the board of directors. Glenn was also the chair of the 2002-2003 membership development and retention committee Glenn is a rotary foundation major donor a Paul Harris fellow and a benefactor he is recipient of the citation for meritorious service and the rotary foundation’s distinguished service award. Glenn and Mary have three children and eight grandchildren sixteen members of his family are Paul Harris fellows.
